  Job Description

  POSITION TITLE : Associate Software Engineer / Software Engineer

  REPORTING TO: Manager

  REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore - India

  WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore - India

  SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES: (maximum 500 characters (not including spaces) for short position posting and introduction of posting on Eurofins website and career portals)

  Objective:

  • Main objective of this position is to deliver high quality software on his own and together with the team (including design, code, tests, documentation) and to accelerate the delivery.

  Required Experience and Skills:

  • 0 to 1.5 years of experience with developing software solutions in Microsoft Technologies.
  • Experience with business requirements analysis, technical analysis and design, coding, unit testing, QA automation and implementation of configurations within software environment.
  • 70%+ score in graduate academics

  POSITION & OBJECTIVES: (maximum 1000 characters (not including spaces) for posting on Eurofins website and career portals):

  Technology skills:

  Mandatory

  • Good background in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)/Engineering.
  • Good understanding of n-Tier architectures with RESTFUL Web API.
  • Hands on experience/professional training with .NET Core, C#.NET, ASP.NET, jQuery, Java Script, CSS.
  • Hands on experience/professional training Hands on experience with MS SQL queries
  • Hands on experience/professional training on LINQ and Entity Framework.
  • Sound knowledge of SOA Principles.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum Organization.
  • Understanding of ATDD / TDD.
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration Environments (TFS/DevOps would be a plus).
  • Should have excellent oral and written communication skills with fluent English.

  Preferred

  • Knowledge on UML, design patterns, design principles such as SOLID / DRY and best coding practices.
  • Proven ability and interest in building new application feature which interacts with exiting application and infrastructure.

  Methodology skills

  • Test Driven Development.
  • Agile-Scrum.
  • Domain Driven Design.

  Personal Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English.
