- Provide level 3 support for production point of sale and In-store customer solutions.
- Perform on-call support rotation after hours and weekends.
- Document problem determination and resolution steps
- Analyze root cause by researching current application code.
- Perform after-hour installation monitoring and validation for production software deployments.
- Perform change and release management functions for routine maintenance releases.
- Develop support utilities following the Software Development Lifecycle
- 1+ year of coding experience
- 1+ year of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
- 1+ year of coding experience leveraging C# or VB.NET
- 1+ year of experience analyzing and creating complex SQL statements and stored procedures with SQL Server
- Experience with Microsoft PowerShell or similar scripting language
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience with DevOps, GIT, and TFS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
- Ability to provide 24/7 production support following a rotating on-call schedule; approximately every 6 weeks, and when the need arises.
- Understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
- Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycles
- 1+ year of coding experience
- 1+ year of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
- 1+ year of coding experience leveraging C# or VB.NET
- 1+ year of experience analyzing and creating complex SQL statements and stored procedures with SQL Server

Publix Technology is seeking an Associate Software Engineer responsible for problem solving, analyzing root causes by researching application code, determining a bypass, and open defects for development engineering teams. We want you to leverage your education and passion for creating solutions for our customers through technology. Additionally, you will develop scripts and utilities to support the production environment. Further duties include creating and configuring packages, as well as supporting documentation for new and existing programs. In addition, the position will require rotational 24/7 on-call support.
