Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand the needed functionality of the software that will need to be tested.
Based on requirements and the collaboration sessions with developers, create test plans that will later be executed once the software is developed.
Collaborate with Business Systems Analyst on reported issues during UAT process.
Perform functional testing on the software to make sure it meets business requirements.
Perform testing on the software to make sure it meets performance requirements.
Test the software to make sure it meets security requirements.
Collaborate with developers to demonstrate and resolve any issues found while testing.
Perform post deployment validation of the software that was released.
Assist the team in recreating issues that have been reported.
Assist the team in determining a “fix” for any issues found.
Associate's Degree in relevant field preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Software QA required
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Working knowledge of SQL
Azure DevOps
Selenium knowledge is a plus

Mechanics Bank is currently searching for an Associate Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. Here at Mechanics Bank, we value connection, partnership, long term relationships and working together in person. This role can work onsite in one of our local offices or remote within the United States.
The Associate Software Quality Assurance Analyst is a key role in the Bank Operations Development team. This role will participate in software design discussions to understand the needed functionality. The Analyst will be responsible for testing the functionality in the systems once it is developed. This role will work closely with the developers to demonstrate and resolve any issues found during the testing. This role will also be responsible for developing automated test scripts for regression testing.

Pay Range: $64,640 - $95,000 annually
