- Req#: 280979
- Identification, evaluation, negotiation and entering of key device partnerships with critical impact on the Novo Nordisk business.
- Ensure contractual and legal foundation of agreements with DDS external suppliers
- Building & maintaining external partnerships and vendor governance.
- Managing risk evaluation & mitigation and participate in occasional due diligence processes.
- Contribute to the building of a Contract Management System and participating in process optimisation initiatives.
- Legal competencies and background. You have about 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Negotiation capabilities and an ability to see through and work in a structured manner within a complex pharmaceutical industry environment.
- English (also legal English) is required at a professional level, written, and spoken.
- Danish is not a requirement for this role however an international mindset and insight into Danish Law is a clear advantage.

The position
You will report to the Head of Sourcing & Alliance Management and work in close alignment with the Legal Advisor, Sourcing & Alliance Management. Further, you will be part of a strong team of highly experienced individuals.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
To succeed you must be ready to learn, build competences and network. A key task is to ensure strong alignment with a complex landscape of stakeholders across DDS, Development, Research & Early Development, Product Supply, Commercial, Quality, Finance & Corporate Legal to ensure that alliances and partnerships are optimally managed and offers maximal realisation of value.

You are a good communicator with the ability to consolidate and convey complex information. You work well in a team as well as autonomously and you have a good and balanced sense of urgency and a positive mindset.
About the department
DDS Sourcing & Alliance Management is a part of DDS Strategic Development and we work with a high degree of flexibility. The Strategic Development Area is responsible for strategy development and execution across the DDS SVP area with around 400 employees. Through strategic resource allocation, portfolio management, communication and external scouting, sourcing, and alliance management, we drive strategy development and strategy execution
The Sourcing & Alliance Management department has two main areas of responsibility. Firstly, the unit is responsible for search and evaluation of innovative external partnerships scoped for devices and delivery solutions including Software as Medical Devices (SaMD). Secondly, the unit is responsible for the management, the processes and the structures securing value adding and trusting alliances and partnerships. Everything in close collaboration with the internal stakeholders from the Line of Business Functions.
