- Provide high quality program management and coordination support to Department teams.
- Working with the CRG Program Officer, facilitate the development of sub-team and departmental strategies and workplans.
- Coordinate implementation and monitoring of thematic cluster, and regional investment support teams workplans
- Provide analytical support to thematic cluster, and regional investment support teams in the development of operational strategies and priorities
- Coordinate the engagement of thematic cluster and regional investment support teams in wider Global Fund strategic and operational planning, and grant review and approval processes.
- Coordinate and contribute to internal and external reporting processes for the thematic cluster and regional investment support teams including business process metrics, corporate and implementation level KPIs, and thematic reporting.
- Facilitate cross team collaboration, information, and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate and contribute to the development of knowledge products including technical briefings, e-learnings and communication materials as needed
- Manage briefings, meetings and events with multilateral, civil society, community and technical partners.
- Monitor and maintain communications with key partners including community and civil society organizations, and multi-lateral and bilateral agencies.
- Provide support to the CRG Department Head, Deputy Head and Leadership team in the preparation of briefings/materials for external events and audiences, and Global Fund Board and Committees.
- Coordinate and participate in the design of capability building and best practice sharing initiatives for thematic cluster and investment support teams to facilitate Global Fund secretariat learning.
- Contribute to the development, evaluation and continual refinement of capability development tools and trainings for external partners
- Working with the CRG Program Officer and CRG Data Analyst, contribute to the development of timely and highest quality reporting to the Global Fund Board and Committees, Global Fund executive management, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and provide analytical support in reporting against strategic and implementation KPIs and milestones, thematic reviews and other data related requirements
- Act as Department focal point with Global Fund secretariat monitoring and evaluation functions
- Other duties as determined by the Deputy Head.
- At least 3 years’ experience, including experience in program management, organizational effectiveness, strategy and/or performance improvement and international development or public health
- Several years of previous experience in project coordination in a multi-stakeholder setting
- Work experience in a developing country environment
- Work experience in an NGO environment
- Project management experience
- Experience with Global Fund policies and processes
- Technical knowledge of one or more of the following areas: human rights, health equity, community systems and responses, and/or community engagement
- Competencies
- An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset

Associate Specialist, Community, Rights and Gender (CRG) - GL C - Defined Duration until December 2025 The Associate Specialist, CRG, provides strategic and operational support to facilitate collaboration across the CRG department.
They work across two Thematic Cluster Teams – Human Rights, Gender, and Health Equity, and Key Populations, Community Responses, and Community Engagement – as well as with the Regional Investment Support team.
Under the direction of the Deputy Head, CRG, they will work as part of a small team that provides departmental support in program and project management, and data analysis which enables cross team alignment with department objectives.Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Essential: University degree in public health, business/public administration, social sciences or a related field or equivalent professional training or study/work experience
