- Set up teas for tasting shared responsibility.
- Must have an interest in learning how to taste and evaluate teas (Training will be provided).
- The candidate must be willing to taste teas on a daily basis.
- Reviewed pre shipment samples and release samples
- Enter Dust &Density into the system for production across all tea leaf
- Manage various parameters in the creation of recipes that include taste, color, density, & moisture
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and arrange for transfers from offsite warehouse when needed
- Renewing of tea standards on a monthly basis
- Maintain a clean lab and tidy workspace
- Facilitate communication between vendors, procurement, and R&D, resulting in expedited and accurate shipping of samples
- Minimum of an Associates Degree. 1-2 years of work experience will be an advantage.
- Must have an aptitude for thinking methodically and following designated processes.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to adjust to production needs and changes.
- Must be articulate and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Additional Job Details
