  Job Title: Associate Tea taster
  
  The Tea Tasting Coordinator is responsible for entering Dust and Density into the system for production. This includes tasting and evaluating ingredients prior to recipe creation and tasting blends after production. This person is also responsible for monitoring inventory of ingredients.

  Your Role

  Your Key Tasks
  

  • Set up teas for tasting shared responsibility.
  • Must have an interest in learning how to taste and evaluate teas (Training will be provided).
  • The candidate must be willing to taste teas on a daily basis.
  • Reviewed pre shipment samples and release samples
  • Enter Dust &Density into the system for production across all tea leaf
  • Manage various parameters in the creation of recipes that include taste, color, density, & moisture
  • Monitor inventory of ingredients and arrange for transfers from offsite warehouse when needed
  • Renewing of tea standards on a monthly basis
  • Maintain a clean lab and tidy workspace
  • Facilitate communication between vendors, procurement, and R&D, resulting in expedited and accurate shipping of samples

  
  
  Skills and Experience
  

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree. 1-2 years of work experience will be an advantage.
  • Must have an aptitude for thinking methodically and following designated processes.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to adjust to production needs and changes.
  • Must be articulate and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
