What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead traffic engineering, signal operations, and ITS design and integration projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth region
- Develop and maintain a client base by providing exceptional traffic and transportation engineering services
- Conduct business development activities related to ITS and traffic operations projects, including proposal preparation and contract negotiations
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert in various transportation engineering and planning areas
- Mentor and lead staff engineers and planners to support their professional growth

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Traffic Engineer (TE) licensure, or relevant certifications (e.g., PTOE, IMSA, AICP)
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in transportation planning, engineering, or ITS industries
- At least five (5) years of leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Proven track record of business development within the Transportation Planning, ITS, or Traffic Engineering/Operations industry

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with state, regional, and local transportation public agencies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area
- Strong understanding of the Texas transportation industry and experience with Texas DOT
- Familiarity with tools such as Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, GIS, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
- Passion for the transportation industry and commitment to innovative solutions
- Active participation in professional organizations related to transportation
