      The Associate Workday Financial Administrator is responsible for support of the Workday system within the Financial Functional Areas. This includes system configuration, solution design, testing, and troubleshooting. This position serves as a technical point of contact and assists accounting subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, user training, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

      Responsibilities

      •Serves as member of the Workday Administrator team

      •Provides input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Members, workstreams and clients as appropriate

      •Works closely with Lead Financial Workday Administrator within the Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Supplier, Procurement, Expense, Projects, Banking and Settlement, Payroll and Adaptive Planning modules.

      •Researches and assists in resolving problem related to Workday financial solutions.

      •Translates business needs into functional and technical requirements

      •Assists in biannual Workday releases by evaluating functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize Financial Functional Areas

      •Configures, tests, validates, and implements business process changes

      •Clearly communicates system changes, updates, and enhancements

      •Partners with Senior Financial Workday Administrator to ensure that financial systems are meeting all change control requirements and compliance with data system security and privacy requirements

      Requirements

      • 1-3 years accounting experience with exposure to Workday
      • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
      • Ability to understand key accounting concepts.
      • Organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills

      Work-at-home requirements

      • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
      • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
      • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
      • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
      • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

      Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. GEHA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

      The annual base salary range for this position is $59,976 - $84,024 USD.
