      Assortment Planner, Pandora NAM

      About the Team:

      As an Assortment Planner, you will primarily manage assortment building and item level forecasting for the North America Market (NAM). This scope includes and not limited to building and iterating an assortment range through analytics and assessment of market trend in styles and pricing. The assortment planning team works together to influence and partner with cross-functional teams from product development to all touch points of the go-to-market strategy and execution. This person will report directly to the Manager, Assortment Planning.

      Your Role as an Assortment Planner:

      • Bottoms-Up Style level reporting and forecasting

      • Using data and insights to optimize assortment by style, collection, product category, and any other relevant product attributes

      • Manage end-to-end forecasting, item setup, and support wholesale selling of new products, as well as inform allocation and replenishment

      • Partner with Merchandise Planning and Demand Planning teams on the Open to Buy process, as well as inputs into demand forecast

      • Effectively communicate product performance across teams in the NAM cluster and with global merch team

      • Collaborate with marketing, visual merchandising, ecomm teams on go-to market strategies and product presentations

      • Inform and influence sales teams on product knowledge and selling of focus products

      • Ad hoc test and learn projects that further inform assortment strategy and/or commercial presentations

      What is needed to succeed:

      • 3-5+ years merchandising, planning, allocation or demand planning experience

      • In Store, commercial experience a plus (Store Leader)

      • Best in class organizational and communication skills

      • Passionate about product and industry trends

      • Data-driven and fact-based decision maker

      • Effective communicator with a clear point of view

      • Team player with a positive mindset

      • Agile in navigating through ambiguities and changes

      • A strong understanding of strengths and weaknesses and ability to be self-aware

      • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint


      NYC Salary
      : $90,000 to $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
