Specifically, our services include multi-family residential and commercial property management, acquisition, development, debt and equity commercial financing.

      The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. While specific responsibilities will vary based on location, this candidate will be responsible to assist with the physical asset management of the property and is on call 24/7 for maintenance emergencies when the Maintenance Supervisor is on vacation. The ability to assist with managing a staff, multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while keeping a positive attitude are crucial. Strong communication and organizational skills are also key.

      Responsibilities

      • Work with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure effective administration of building systems including HVAC, boiler maintenance and more
      • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies according to documented procedures
      • Work in coordination with Maintenance Supervisor and Management with staff, vendors, contractors, and residents to promote and sustain the safety, cleanliness and upkeep of the building including regular property walks, work orders and preventative maintenance
      • Assist Maintenance Supervisor with the keeping of detailed records of facilities maintenance for mechanical systems, pool, and elevators as well as scheduling and managing the maintenance/janitorial staff

      Schedule

      • Monday-Friday: 8:00AM-5:00PM
      • On call 2 weeks on then 2 weeks off

      Qualifications

      • 5+ years’ experience in multifamily facilities
      • HVAC Certification or corresponding experience
      • Good customer service skills
      • Proficiency in basic computer operations
      • Good interpersonal and communication skills
      • Must be a self-starter and able to multi-task
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment which may require working holidays, weekends and nights based on needs at site location and in cases of emergency
      • Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills

      Compensation

      • Hourly Rate Range for this position: $ 26 - $28
