      Overview

      The Server Assistant is responsible for providing attentive service to all guests in their assigned section by working diligently to ensure the environment is clean and well stocked at all times. The Service Assistant will set and clean tables in addition to assisting the Cocktail Server Model with any and all tasks necessary. Our Server Assistant Models exists to provide excellent service Hard Rock style! You are critical part of the team that takes care of our guests. You work in tandem with the Cocktail Server Model to ensure our guests experience a new level of nightlife.

      Responsibilities

      • Working as a team with the Cocktail Server Models to ensure a high level of guest attention
      • Consistently delivers exceptional service to all guests while acting in a professional manor
      • On occasion, the Server Assistant may assist the Cocktail Server Model in mixing and pouring well-balanced cocktails and shots according to the Hard Rock Mixology program
      • Complies with all state and federal liquor laws
      • Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned
      • Maintains a clean and hygienic work area in accordance with New Jersey Health Standards
      • Cleans all spills immediately, notifying other staff members and using appropriate signage when necessary
      • Sets and resets tables according to company standards before, during and after service
      • Communicates with management, VIP hosts & service staff to rectify and all customer needs, comments or incidents
      • Acts as an ambassador of the venue, marketing the venue and all products offered to the targeted customer base through available social media outlets, as per the Company's Marketing Requirement Plan
      • Collects customer information for the venue database, while constantly striving to increase the size of your personal clientele
      • Constantly provides customers with accurate information about the venue and property as well as entertainment offered in each
      • Sets and resets tables according to standard before, during and after service
      • Welcomes all customers to the venue professionally and courteously, according to the established venue sequence of service
      • Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and other team members when the opportunity arises
      • Communicates with management, VIP hosts & service staff to rectify any and all customer needs, comments or incidents
      • Cleans all spills immediately, notifying other staff members and using appropriate signage when necessary
      • Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned

      Qualifications

      • A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a server or server assistant, preferably in a high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant
      • Current and/or previous modeling experience preferred but not required
      • Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes
      • Ability to obtain a valid New Jersey alcohol awareness card and a New Jersey Food Handler Safety Training card
      • Must be able to operate: two and six wheel carts, juice, soda and liquor guns, cutting boards, coffee and frozen drink machines, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, blenders, beer keg/soda/wine/juice hook-ups, and knives.
      • Must hold or have the ability to obtain a Casino Employee Registration issued by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

      ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

      • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
      • Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.
      • Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift and work inside assigned bar area in the venue.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT:

      • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
      • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
