- Atlassian Administration
- Cooperate with Atlassian support team to configure and administer on-prem and cloud tools
- Learn and enforce governance policies across Atlassian products
- Create and manage custom scripts.
- Configure applications to adhere to enterprise cyber security policies.
- Perform upgrades, configuration changes and apply bug fixes as needed.
- Establish and maintain integrations between Atlassian Cloud and on-prem tools
- Assist teams with understanding of technical and functional best practices related to using Atlassian tools for service management, project management, and knowledge bases.
- Evaluate and configure add-ons
- Monitor systems log failure codes and research resolutions, analyzing data and system logs
- Assist in migration of on-prem Atlassian tools to the Atlassian cloud
- Atlassian Development
- Create and maintain Jira projects, workflows, queries, custom fields, screens, and schemes for complex and high-impact projects
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters in JIRA to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
- Document policies and procedures suggest new processes to improve performance.
- Develop solutions to integrate Atlassian and non-Atlassian systems including workflows, scripts, and other custom solutions.
- Business Analyst/Process Engineering Skills
- Gather requirements for business processes
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
- Define, redefine and/or translate business documentation into business process workflows.
- Participate in technical solution and end-user documentation
- General Skills
- Keep up to date with the latest Atlassian tools and technologies, including attaining certifications, when required.
- Respond to end-user inquiries and incidents,
- Participate in end-user support and training activities
- Monitor and validate end-user usage and quality.
- Troubleshoot issues and discuss new capabilities
- Participate and facilitate cross-functional, collaborative teams that will work on enterprise-wide process design and reengineering initiatives.
- Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
- Act proactively, confidently, and professionally in coordinating and leading activities, including group calls and face-to-face meetings with technical and non-technical team members.
- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers
- Minimum 2 years total of hands-on experience working with JIRA as an Administrator and/or solution developer, including familiarity with workflow and automation design.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Atlassian Certifications related to Atlassian Expert, Project, Data Center, or Cloud Administrator.
- Familiarity with creating solutions that integrate Atlassian solutions with other services.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Collaboration services such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

We are looking for a passionate analyst/engineer with experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence. This position will work with technical and non-technical teams to shape the way we use and manage Atlassian services, perform migrations, and process and share information. The candidate must have a passion for innovation.
This position is available in Washington, DC, Richmond, VA, or Atlanta, GA and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
