Employment status: Part-time, on-call, not to exceed 1000 hours per year, expected May 2024 – Aug 2024
Position summary: Participate in collaborative research projects with Air Force mentors. Conduct research in sensing and autonomy technologies, including sensor processing, modeling, and exploitation; object tracking and recognition; sensor development; navigation; and more.
Minimum qualifications: - Acceptance into an undergraduate or graduate degree program at home institution in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or a related field
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications: - Strong academic performance
- Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, some intern positions will require U.S. Citizenship and interns age 18 years or older
Job duties: - 100% - mentor-guided research in autonomy technologies
