      Job Description:
      This attorney will be part of the Public Policy, Community Impact, and Third Party Legal group, specifically providing legal support to the Global Third Party Program. Attorney will handle the negotiation, revision, review, and drafting of complex contracts for vendor and other third party services to the bank, and assist in the interpretation of new domestic and international legislation that may impact key contractual provisions in vendor contracts. Attorney will manage and provide oversight of outside counsel work for the Third Party Program, and, together with lawyers for front line units, provide risk analysis and legal guidance to the Global Third Party Group.

      Requirements:

      • Minimum 5 years of procurement legal experience.
      • Experience negotiating complex contracts and ancillary documents on vendor paper and bank paper, both inside and outside of the U.S.
      • Ability to explain complex regulatory legal issues to clients and work with key stakeholders across the bank
      • Proactively manage changes in laws to determine how to amend templates accordingly.

      Desired Skills:

      • Preferred candidates will have experience in the financial services industry, preferably including a working knowledge of technology and privacy/cross-border data movement considerations in vendor contracts.

      Pay and benefits information

      Pay range

      $150,300.00 - $243,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

      Discretionary incentive eligible

      This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
