      JOB TITLE: Audio Visual Infrastructure Engineer

      SALARY: £68,202 - £75,780

      LOCATION: Leeds but may require travel to other locations as required.

      HOURS: Full-time

      WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.


      About this opportunity
      The Audio Visual (AV) Infrastructure Engineer role is pivotal to transforming our colleague experience in and out of the meeting room. Leading the design and development of inspiring and technology rich workspaces you will be instrumental in evolving our extensive estate.

      The AV Infrastructure Engineer is a key position responsible for creating and maintaining modern workplace meeting and collaboration space designs and integrating them into architectural environments. Collaborating with internal customers, colleagues, and partners you will provide consultancy services to evaluate and document user requirements. Working in close partnership with external technology suppliers you will create system designs that provide inspiration spaces for our colleagues.

      To be successful in this role you’ll need to have a deep and broad knowledge of workplace technologies and have a clear understanding of how to deploy these to form integrated solutions.

      What you’ll need

      • Ability to interact with technical and nontechnical colleagues and stakeholders to successfully identify requirements and outcomes.

      • Ability to think creatively as well as methodically regarding technical design and space challenges.

      • Be self-motivated and accountable in a fast-pace, independent environment.

      • Detailed knowledge of AV vendors such as Poly, Microsoft Teams, Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, and other related

      • Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation, system designs, visualisations.

      • Familiarity with remote management / monitoring solutions would be advantageous.

      • Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant industry standard hardware as well as client proprietary tools.

      • Strong interpersonal, Influencing and customer centric skills.

      • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and meetings.

      • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

      • Excellent written and oral communications skills

      • Experience of Agile ways of working would be an advantage.

      • Microsoft Teams certification

      • Relevant industry specific training
