      Responsibilities

      As a Technology Audit Director you will:

      • Lead the planning and execution of core Information Technology disciplines. Example audit scope areas include:
        • Infrastructure and Computer Operations
        • IT Service Management
        • Information Security and Cybersecurity
        • Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence
        • Emerging Technology risk areas (e.g., Third Parties, Cloud, Internet of Things, Privacy, ESG/Sustainability)
      • Support the planning and execution of operational, compliance and financial audits across PepsiCo.
      • Manage a team of between three and five direct reports; with the matrix organization structure, expect to lead 12 or more individuals throughout the year.
      • Identify risks to achieving the audit entity’s stated objectives and evaluate controls effectiveness, providing valuable and objective perspective, insights and assurance.
      • Communicate audit progress to senior leadership throughout the audit, serving as the primary audit contact.
      • Present proposed audit scope and approach to the Corporate Audit VP/General Auditor.
      • Conduct audit status update meetings with management. For identified opportunities, communicate root cause and impact.
      • Plan and facilitate audit workshops, discussing designed processes and identifying key financial, operational, technology and compliance risks.
      • Identify and align key controls to test and monitoring activities to assess during the audit.
      • Review each team member’s testing results, providing timely coaching.
      • Partner with management to develop cost-effective and risk-based remediation plans.
      • Collaborate with the Audit Sr. Director and Audit Directors to assess process and strategic risks across PepsiCo, validating relevant risks are identified and addressed in the annual audit plan.
      • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the relevancy, effectiveness and efficiency of PepsiCo’s audit procedures and/or supporting administrative processes.
      • Support Sr. Directors with the execution of the Corporate Audit strategic plan and other key department initiatives.
      • Lead and participate in our Strategic Capability Faster, Stronger, Better initiatives encompassing process and methodology improvement, best practice sharing, technology adoption (e.g., data analytics, digitization), emerging risks evaluation and incorporation (e.g., cyber, privacy compliance, third-party management), organizational health and people processes (e.g., career advancement, recognition, training, evaluations).
      • Coordinate recruiting and onboarding of associates into Corporate Audit.
      • Manage the travel & expense and consulting forecast for audit engagements, providing explanations for variances.

      Compensation and Benefits:

      • The expected compensation range for this position is between $122,300 - $242,700 based on a full-time schedule.
      • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
      • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually.
      • and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
      • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
      • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, MIS, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics)
      • 10+ years of Auditing mixed with experience in Accounting, Finance, Operations, IT and/or Transformation
      • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
      • Ability to work in matrixed organization and manage competing priorities
      • Ability to effectively communicate across diverse groups and experienced in team management
      • Willing and able to travel approximately 10% - 20% domestic and international, as required

      Preferred Requirements:

      • Master’s Degree in an IT-related discipline or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
      • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA, CISM)
      • Previous “Big 4” public accounting or similar consulting experience
      • Experience with IT general control processes (e.g., Change Management, System Development Lifecycle, Information Security, IT Operations)
      • Experience in the food, beverage and/or fast-moving consumer goods industry
