What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support ASC coders and coding compliance teams with pre-bill monitoring, auditing, and training
- Analyze enterprise audit results and identify areas for coder education
- Address coding inquiries from teams and facilities using authoritative coding references
- Assist with requests from managed care and revenue cycle departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS certification required
- Minimum of 5+ years of ASC coding experience
- Knowledge of AMA, CMS, and CPT coding guidelines
- Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Coding experience
