What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform end-of-episode claim audits for Medicare patients according to established protocols
- Conduct quality face-to-face (F2F) reviews for new admissions and quality assurance (QA) audits as needed
- Follow up on open billing issues within two working days and update incorrect OASIS for key field corrections
- Complete daily follow-ups for previous billing periods and assist branch employees with outstanding claims over 90 days
- Maintain billing responsibilities to ensure unbilled claims remain at 10% or less of total branch revenue

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Minimum of two years of experience with Medicare billing or related functions is strongly preferred
- Effective communication skills are essential
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently
- Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a home health or hospice setting
- Familiarity with data analytics tools, such as Tableau
- Previous experience in quality assurance or auditing roles
- Knowledge of OASIS documentation requirements
