  Join SATG as an Automation Engineer-Graduate Intern! As an Automation Engineer Graduate Intern, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Automate operational tasks and steps using scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.

  • Integrate, test, install, configure and/or support Factory automation software systems.

  • Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals as well as emerging capability needs.

  • Software development for related enhancements to automation systems, or supplemental systems such as support and monitoring tools.

  Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

  You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
  
  Minimum Qualifications

  
  The candidate must be currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any other engineering related field and 3+ months experience in:

  • Programming in Perl, Python or Shell scripting

  • Windows/Unix/Linux OS

  • Database systems and/or SQL language

  This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
