- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and equipment.
- Handle electrical maintenance for CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC machining centers, and robotics.
- Work with over 35 OEM machine brands including P&H cranes/hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools.
- Repair CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from Fanuc, Siemens, Modicon, and Allen-Bradley.
- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems.
- Connect a laptop to machines for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues.
- Use an MMS system to generate work orders and log maintenance performed using a company-provided computer/tablet.
- Prioritize machinery repairs based on the value stream of the equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines.
- Experience with electrical maintenance, including AC/DC power systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC controls by going online and editing ladder logic.
- Experience with electrical wiring, sensors, cables, and drive faults.
- Knowledge of Glass Scale Linear Encoders.
- Experience with HMI and altering programs for electrical troubleshooting.
- Controls experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell, and Fanuc.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC equipment independently.
- Certified Electrician.
- Associate Degree in Industrial Automation.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines. The ideal candidate will handle automation machine tool electrical maintenance, working on a variety of CNC equipment including CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC machining centers, and robotics. You will work with over 35 OEM machine brands and handle equipment such as P&H cranes/hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools. You will also be responsible for repairing CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, Modicon, and Allen-Bradley. Key tasks include troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems. You will connect a laptop to machines to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues. The maintenance team uses an MMS system to generate work orders, and you will log all maintenance performed using a company-provided computer/tablet. Work Environment
Manufacturing facility that is climate-controlled and very clean. Machine shop production environment. These are off-shift positions with 2 on 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 11:30 PM) and 2 on 3rd shift (11:30 PM - 7:30 AM). During the first 2-4 weeks, candidates can expect 40 hours a week on days for training before moving to their assigned shift. Candidates must be open to both shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lafayette, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00/hr.
