      Summary
      A large and thriving employer in Athens, OH, is hiring an automation operator to join their team. They will be responsible for operating and monitoring equipment and performing preventative maintenance.

      Duties include:
      • Operating and monitoring production line equipment.
      • Participating in automated line production, cleaning, PM, material movement and packaging processes.
      • Following safety protocols, GMP production documentation, and adhering to PPE requirements.
      • Assisting in conducting first article inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
      • Participating in equipment change-overs and line clearances to ensure smooth transitions between different products or batches.
      • Collaborating with team members to address technical problems and contributing to process improvements.
      • Supporting material requisition for daily production needs and outflows of completed parts.
      • Completing production documentation accurately and organizing records.
      • Performing general preventative maintenance on production line equipment as directed.
      This is a temporary, full-time position hiring as soon as possible and anticipated to last twelve months, with a chance of permanent hire for the right employee. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $16/hour.

      Qualifications
      Required:
      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • 2 or more years of related experience in a technical automation manufacturing environment or equivalent related manufacturing or technical experience.
      • Basic knowledge of GMP documentation practices.
      • Ability to perform manufacturing operations with a focus on quality and efficiency.
      Preferred:
      • Technical degree or certification.
      • Knowledge of federal regulations (QSR's, ISO, ISO 13485, CMDR).
      • Experience with high complexity, semi-automated production equipment.
      • Familiarity with MS Office and software systems used in manufacturing.
