      Automation Technician Opportunity- Michigan City, IN

      Job Description:

      Join a leading company in manufacturing innovative instrumentation solutions for the HVAC and Process Automation markets. As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for managing automated equipment within the manufacturing lines. You will work with Epson Robots, Automation Direct / Rockwell PLCs, and handle some hydraulics and pneumatics.

      Responsibilities

      • Assist with line implementation efforts
      • Troubleshoot automated issues occurring within manufacturing
      • Understand the company's manufacturing process and the automation involved
      • Perform troubleshooting on Bar Code vision systems
      • Ensure operators understand how the automated equipment works prior to using
      • Collaborate with maintenance, operators, and Automation Engineers
      • Enhance the manufacturing and product process

      Essential Skills

      • Technical associate's degree related to engineering (EET, MET, Automation, Advanced Manufacturing, etc.)
      • 3+ years of experience working with automated manufacturing equipment
      • Ability to make minor edits/modifications within a PLC program and robot program
      • Experience with vision systems (bar code readers)

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with Automation Direct PLCs
      • Direct experience with Epson Robots

      Work Environment

      Based in Michigan City, IN, the work environment include sassisting in line implementation on 2nd shift(7pm-7am), Sunday-Wednesday. Benefits include 80 hours of PTO and 6 paid holidays.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
