We’re looking for an engineer to help us manage day to day Operations in automation for R&DS Automation Testing team. Someone who thrives on challenges and continually looks for opportunities to make things better. Comfortable in taking responsibilities. Should be friendly, positive and enthusiastic at every turn.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web-based applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of applications.
• Identify, report, and track defects in the software applications (HP ALM).
• Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
• Participate in the design and development of test plans and test cases.
• Analyze test results and prepare test reports.
• Continuously improve the automated testing processes and tools.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in software testing.
• Gather requirements from clients, customers, or end-users to develop the best automation solutions.
• Responsible for day-to-day ad hoc activities and support of the application bots in operation, including tasks related troubleshooting of automations bots and resolution or escalation.







KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in automated testing of web-based applications using Selenium.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and programming languages like Java, Python.
• Experience in testing web-based applications.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Adherence to IQVIA values, process, and procedures.
• Technical
o Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
o Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, etc.
o Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or other programming languages
o Experience with debugging tools such as Firebug, Chrome Developer Tools, etc.
o Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts such as encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism
o Experience with SQL and databases.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
o Good Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines
