Lead applications team and manage priorities to align with company goals. (10%)
Define next generation products (specs, features, etc.) based on future customer needs, innovative ideas, competitive analysis, regulatory trends, marketing and R&D inputs, cost constraints, etc. (30%)
Generate and update marketing definition and datasheet. (10%)
Work closely with R&D throughout the design phase and until production release to address any definition-related topic. (20%)
Prepare technical training and promotional material to ensure new product success. (10%)
Hold technical training to sales, reps, distributors, and/or partners worldwide. (10%)
Visit key customers to understand their challenges/needs and promote new products. (10%)
5+ years in semiconductor Applications Management
Deep experience with defining sensing technologies and products for automotive applications
Capacitive, touch, magnetic/hall sensing experience
Good analog and mixed signal circuitry knowledge
Self-driven, strong troubleshooting skills as well as adhering to project deadlines and business objectives
Able to work in and foster a teamwork environment with a demonstrated ability to share technical knowledge with others
Must be an effective communicator with the ability to interface at all levels within the organization, possessing a thorough command of the English language, written as well as verbal
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required
Master’s in Electrical Engineering
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable (French/German/Italian/Chinese/Korean/Japanese)

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $103,103 - $216,516. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
