- Grind welds and other areas of the vehicle to prepare for painting.
- Sand vehicles to prepare for painting.
- Perform buffing on basic items such as smart access and smaller items.
- Complete final and advanced buffing as needed.
- Complete taping and masking for body work and painting.
- Caulk the exterior and interior areas of the vehicle to prepare for painting.
- Use body filler and prepare area for painting.
- Use paint equipment to apply primer coat of paint.
- Paint wheels.
- Apply finished painting on swinging doors, bodies, and smart access components.
- Maintain and clean paint equipment.
- Operate stationary and overhead cranes as needed.
- Operate all equipment and tools as needed.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in painting and industrial painting.
- Experience in paint preparation and using hand tools.
- Auto body paint expertise.
- Ability to operate a paint booth and use a spray gun.
**Automotive Painter - 4 Day Work Week - Start ASAP!**
Pay: $20-$28/hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday, Various Shifts Available
Our company is looking for a skilled and motivated automotive painter! The automotive painter is responsible for completing the paint preparation and painting of fire trucks. Individuals must be capable of wearing a respirator as needed to perform job duties.
