- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of recent experience as a mechanic in a full-service shop
- Strong understanding of automotive engine, electrical, drivetrain and/or infotainment systems
- Two ASE certifications (or you can get them within six months of hire with reimbursement from Morley)
- Able to use electronic service manuals
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to stick to the schedule reliably, as some queues are time sensitive
- Electric vehicle (EV) experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Typing skills
- Indiana resident
- High-speed internet access at home that you are able to connect to via Ethernet or landline
- Secluded and distraction-free work environment

About the RoleLocation: Remote - Indiana residents (initial on-site training* - S aginaw, Michigan)
Note: This job is for a person who has worked in the auto tech industry and now wants to work remotely, handling calls from service technicians who need expert help with vehicle issues.
Ready to trade your wrench for a home office? Share your automotive EV, engine, electrical, drivetrain or infotainment systems expertise with service technicians in the field over the phone and by email. You'll stay up to date on the latest recalls, service bulletins and new information and sharpen your own skills by teaching others. Morley's remote Automotive Technicians (Technical Automotive Consultants) are often the first to know - or the first to find - fixes for new repair concerns.
