What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Define, lead, and own the creation of an ADS subsystem module
- Design, implement, test, and support ADS module functionality through simulations and real-world test runs
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support all aspects of ground vehicle autonomy
- Work with hardware engineering to create an integrated system
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Strong CS fundamentals
- Background in developing the autonomy functions of a deployed, autonomous vehicle
- High-performing engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience working on software engineering teams
- Comfort with shipping safety-critical software

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Advanced research experience in vehicle autonomy or machine learning
- Background in safety-critical software/system development
- Prior experience developing and supporting all aspects of autonomy for a production ground-vehicle subsystem
- Startup experience
- Experience with relevant technologies such as Carla or Gazebo
