Job Description

- Operate and maintain a range of audio-visual systems and equipment, e.g., projectors, cameras, video switchers and monitors, LED panels, audio amplifiers and mixers, livestream equipment (Vimeo Livestream, Tricaster), video conferencing (Zoom, Teams, Go-To Meeting, and Vimeo) and Vitec IPTV.
- Provide routine maintenance of nonfunctional and inoperable equipment.
- Complete meeting and event setups including furniture and AV equipment placement.
- Provide support in team meetings including but not limited to weekly team meetings, huddles, and trainings on and off site.
- Troubleshooting end user’s audio or video issues.
- Assist with inventory, asset control, and storage of AV equipment.
- Provides the installation and/or upgrades of new hardware and software to the client environment, including but not limited to computers, laptops, and printers
- Prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Troubleshoot end-user-computer software and hardware issues in a diverse operating system environment
- Move computer equipment during a move/add/change request.
- Basic PC repair
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
- 1 year of experience working in an AV technical support role
- Familiarity with basic AV equipment including projectors, microphones, portable sound systems, mixing boards, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Understanding of basic network
- Must be able to complete projects and tasks independently with limited direct supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation
- Ability work with others to achieve successful end goals
- On-site attendance
- Advanced knowledge of AV equipment, computers, applications, and technology.
- Experience with Windows 10 operating system
- 2+ years combination of a technical degree or certification, Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree or equivalent AV technical work experience.

Our IT infrastructure team is looking to add a motivated A/V Support Technician to assist us with our growing operations. In this role you will work in support of all areas of UWM IT operations. This is a great opportunity to grow your career within our IT division. You will expand your knowledge of the set-up, operation, and control of a variety of audio-visual equipment utilized for presentations in large and medium auditoriums, training and conference room settings, software and hardware support and installation, project management, and how IT is applied to the mortgage origination process.
