  Do you have AVEVA, OSI PI SME/Consultant experience, and are you seeking a new job in Dublin? Cognizant is looking for a remote-working AVEVA, OSI PI SME/Consultant, and the hybrid role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

  As an AVEVA, OSI PI SME/Consultant, you will leverage the AVEVA suite capabilities to drive digital transformation and operational excellence for asset-intensive industries. Using industry best practices, you will work with the customer to design, develop, implement, and optimise OSIPI systems.

  In your first few weeks in this AVEVA, OSI PI SME/Consultant role, you can expect to:

  • Gather customer requirements and interact with multi-geography teams to deliver the solution
  • Understand managed services requirements from clients and build a service delivery model around PI
  • Advise on best practices for OSIPI data infrastructure and architecture
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of PI systems
  • Drive projects that leverage the AVEVA suite of products to improve operational efficiency

  To succeed in this AVEVA, OSI PI SME/Consultant role, you should have knowledge of OSI PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, PI Interfaces as a base. You will also need:

  • To demonstrate success in identifying requirements and subsequent development and implementation of PI
  • A Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Science, or any Engineering
  • Extensive experience in a combination of process control, automation (PCS, SCADA and DCS), software development or information technology management in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology or other life sciences industries
  • Good technical knowledge of networks and related hardware and software
