      Job Type: Part-time
      Salary Range: $15/hr.
      Hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. through 12:30 p.m.

      ABOUT THE POSITION

      The Noon Aide/Recess Monitor will be needed for the 2020-21 school year. As a Noon Aide/Recess Monitor, you are expected to work outside, and be responsible for proper supervision at recess. You will also:

      • Report any difficulties or unusual problems to the teachers and other school personnel
      • You must be able physically capable of prolonged standing, walking and stooping
      • May direct students in gathering materials, games, balls, or other items to be used during the activities
      • Be able to give special attention to safety factors when weather or other circumstances occur
      • Immediately report any injury or unusual problems to the professional staff
      • Convey positive communication/interactions with the scholars
      • Restricting students from inappropriate behavior
      • Dismiss classes in an orderly manner at the scheduled times
      • Checking the playground daily, and appropriately addressing ground and equipment hazards
      • Responding appropriately to emergencies

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      • High School Diplima, GED or Equivalent
      • Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
      • Experience with young children
