      Role Summary/Purpose :

      AVP, Analytics TJX & JC Penney (People Manger) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). The role will deliver on business and organizational priorities for TJX & JCPenney, working in close collaboration with Analytics , Marketing and Finance Teams in solving business problems with solutions that are powered by data and analytics. The role includes providing strategic thought leadership in optimizing and scaling up current deliveries and building analytics roadmap.

      This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.       Key Responsibilities:

      • Act as business consultant, offer analytical and strategic thinking, understand business needs and requirements, be able to translate needs and requirements into data, KPIs, dashboards and insights to measure business performance, and make recommendation to senior leadership team

      • Proactively discover, lead, and solve business problems through basic to advanced analytics/data science tools and techniques, as applicable

      • Collaborate with various stakeholders from marketing and finance and influence decision making through data backed analyses and actionable insights

      • Responsible and committed to the last mile execution of projects.

      • Lead the Projects by ensuring adherence to timely delivery, accuracy and documentation in line with Audit Procedures

      • Lead strategic initiatives and analytic solutions building from planning to execution

      Required Skills & Knowledge:

      • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL /SAS Tools with ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data

      • Minimum 3+ years of hands on people management experience

      • Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and story boarding skills

      • Ability to solve complex technical and business problems with minimal supervision

      Desired Skills & Knowledge:

      • Superior thought leadership and framework based solutioning abilities

      • Experience in storytelling, presenting to senior leaders with strong communication skills

      • Innovative mindset that looks to improve current capabilities and discover new ones

      • Understanding of marketing concepts including campaign measurement, targeting, and segmentation

      • Experience with digital measurement tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

      Eligibility Criteria :

      Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience

      Work Timings: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
