      Our Analytics organization comprises of data analysts who focus on enabling strategies to

      enhance customer and partner experience and optimize business performance through data

      management and development of full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics solutions using

      cutting edge technologies thereby enabling business growth.

      Role Summary/Purpose:

      AVP, Analytics -TJX (Individual Contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). The role will deliver high-visibility and high-impact projects, working in close collaboration with IAH and US Analytics teams to help solve key business problems with solutions that are powered by data and analytics. This role will be working in a consulting model and develop analytic solutions focused on enabling company’s growth and profitability

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Support the TJX Analytics leader and onshore analytics and marketing teams in the design and execution of marketing campaigns and tests for the TJX portfolio

      • Demonstrate strong knowledge and proficiency in the application of digital marketing analytics tools and platforms

      • Proactively propose, initiate, execute and own strategic projects that create business impact.

      • Regularly communicate with stakeholders on Projects

      • Facilitate meetings with US Portfolio analytics team, including making presentations as necessary

      • Proactively leverage expertise in the larger offshore team to deliver impact for TJX

      • Encourage use of the latest tools and techniques in the industry and leverage for portfolio growth.

      • Responsible and committed to the last mile execution of projects.

      • Contribute to internal initiatives, perform other duties and/or special projects, as assigned

      Required Skills/Knowledge:

      • 4+ years of hands on SQL/ SAS programming experience

      • Experience with digital measurement tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

      • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau

      • Strong understanding of targeting and segmentation

      • Proven ability to work independently, yet as key member and contributor to a broader team

      • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to handle multiple initiatives

      • Experience in credit card or financial services

      Desired Skills/Knowledge:

      • Good knowledge of latest Analytical practices in the Industry.

      • Experience in working with Python an R, preferably in a Linux-based cloud environment such as AWS

      • Knowledge of multivariable calculus and linear algebra with predictive performance or algorithm optimization techniques, ML methods like k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forest, etc

      Eligibility Criteria:

      Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 4+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience. Minimum 6+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of specified degree

      Work Timings:

      This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
