Job Description

- Working collaboratively with the functional distribution leaders, establishes KPIs for underwriting, business development and digital partnerships that enable the achievement of our organizational business objectives.
- Establishes and implements a robust sales discipline across channels best practices for broker/partner engagement including a sales process, standard operating routines, and measurement of effectiveness for each role.
- Develops, leads, and organizes the initiatives associated with improving sales and underwriting effectiveness and supporting the defined sales process. Influences the build of sales and underwriting tools, creates resources and processes to improve sales performance within both channels.
- Supports consistent sales and underwriting execution through implementation of a sales-based curriculum for both underwriting, business development and partnerships.
- Works in close partnership with the Distribution Analytics team to create meaningful measurement, influences work portfolio and prioritize deliverables.
- Plays key role in creating the structure for Regional Marketing Meetings
- Upskills the teams on conducting virtual sales calls and measures successful execution in a virtual space.
- Develops successful internal and external sales incentive, rewards and recognitions programs that align to business objectives, drive business results, and increase engagement.
As part of the Distribution Leadership team and reporting directly to Head of Distribution, this role is critical to strengthening business development, partnership management and underwriting execution. This role supports both the digital and retail traded distribution channels of Hiscox USA.
This position works collaboratively with our distribution leadership teams to create, enhance, and implement consistent underwriting and business development best practices that improve our ability to drive production in the marketplace. The Distribution Effectiveness role also has accountability for all distribution incentive programs, represents the marketing portfolio on behalf of Distribution and plays a key role in collecting and developing insights into competitive intelligence.
