Job Title: AVP, Investment Management Travel Required: Yes Department/Group: Investment Management Position Type: Full time Location: Tampa, FL Applications Accepted By: APPLY ONLINE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, the AVP, Investment Management is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned healthcare real estate portfolio. This role will act as the primary owner representative with the tenants/operators within the designated portfolio. In addition, the position will work closely with the Senior Vice President to develop asset plans and strategies to preserve and enhance the value of our investments, as well as partner with acquisitions, research & credit, etc. to drive future growth for the company. • Develop and cultivate relationships with new and existing Tenant/Operator management teams • Complete market reports providing intelligence on tenant operations and credit, market conditions and comps, and building condition and maintenance • Collaborate with Property Management to administer lease agreements • Work with Property Managers to develop asset improvement plans • Develop credit monitoring procedures and reports alongside the SVP, Investment Management and the VP, Credit Underwriting • Engage outside brokers to develop market comps and statistics reports • Engage and manage contracted brokers to create successful marketing and leasing strategies • Negotiate terms of lease agreements and partner with internal and external Legal team to edit agreements and other related lease documents • Prepare financial analysis to support lease and/or disposition recommendations • Monitor and ensure compliance with lease terms and other related obligations • Other duties related to overall value enhancement and risk mitigation of the portfolio QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Real Estate required, advanced degree a plus • 5-7 years of relationship management, asset management or real estate management experience; Healthcare Real Estate experience preferred • Ability to travel frequently to tour properties, meet with tenants, and other market participants • Strong knowledge of Healthcare Real Estate • REIT experience a plus OTHER REQUIRED AND PREFERRED SKILLS • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong negotiation skills • Ability to successfully work cross-functionally to build trust and align goals and priorities across departments • Healthcare Real Estate and/or Medical Office leasing experience preferred • Argus and Yardi experience a plus • Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite |
