      Position Purpose

      Our tier One Corporate and investment banking client is looking for an individual to join with a permanent contract the Exotic Trade Support team. Within this business, the Exotic Trade Support team is part of Global Market Operations and is dedicated to provide a premium service to Front Office and indirectly to BNP’s clients, acting as the single point of contact regarding post-trade management (primary trades validation & life-cycle events management) and daily operational activity across all asset classes.

      The teams are based in Lisbon, Paris, New York, and Hong Kong provide seamless solutions in Exotic Equity Derivatives, ensuring traders benefit from local support and expertise as well as proactive management of their issues.

      Product Scopes: all Exotic Equity Derivatives risk managed in APAC (Exotic Options, Exotic Swaps, Autocallable, Structured Notes etc.)

      The APAC Exotic Equity Derivatives team’s primary responsibilities are

      · To book and follow up all the trade operations pending on T+1

      · To be the middleman to co-ordinate all information from client and Front-to-Back to ensure smooth processing and settlement is properly performed

      · To perform day-to-day core trade support functions to Trading including trade validation, late trade booking, trade amendment and cancellation

      · To handle any post-trade events such as corporate action adjustment, secondary event booking and notification

      · To perform as an independent control team to strengthen all the control within Global Market Operations and to follow the escalation rule

      · To assist, work closely and have frequent contact with Front Offices (Sales, Trading, Business Managers, Relationship Managers).

      Responsibilities

      · Install a good efficient communication/dialogue with client, Sales, Trading, Relationship Managers and IT

      · Ensure all queries are handled correctly by the right department in a timely manner, both internally and externally

      · Follow up of any client’s request until the issue is solved

      · Minimize operational risk and detect fraud

      · Escalation to the management and further to Management/FO/Business/Risk if needed

      · Identify, implement and maintain all referential detail: Product, Client and any other.

      · Ensure all cash flows are correct and paid on pay date.

      · Participate to global & local improvement, automation or regulatory projects

      Experience Required
