- Ensure superior customer service within the TM Operations team, including monitoring response times and handling escalations
- Engage in business development activities, review complex bank statements, and support business development officers by offering technical and operational expertise on services including ACH, remote deposit capture, wires, ACH and check positive pay, smart safes, armored courier services, and lockbox
- Participate in day-to-day department operations, approve reconciliations and risk reviews completed by the TM Operations Support staff, and provide training and support to TM Operations Support staff
- Identify through observation needs for coverage and support to TM Operations Support staff
- Review and ensure Commercial Analysis for each client is set up and maintained based on agreed upon terms
- Maintain an advanced knowledge of Treasury Services, including obtaining and maintaining an ACH Accredited Certification
- Lead training sessions on Treasury Service products and procedures for internal partners, including branch staff
- Monitor and track the operational aspect of the sales cycle, ensuring timely movement and completion by TM Operations Support staff
- Responsible for special projects, writing procedures, and supporting in gathering data for audits
- Work closely with VP TM Operations Manager on developing and implementing demos, guides, and resources for commercial clients, as well as internal procedures, guides, form to ensure efficiencies
- Review and ensure timely completion of monthly and quarterly checklist items
- Engage and maintain strong relationships with TM product vendors, support VP, TM Operations Manager on implementation of new services
- Ensure client files are complete and in compliance
- Other duties may be assigned
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Treasury Management Services/Cash Management or Banking Operations with a focus on the processing and operations of the Treasury Management Service products
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing training and mentoring within banking operations
- Accredited ACH Professional preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with Q2 online banking preferred
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to prioritize and manage workload
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; presents a positive and professional image
- Proficient in providing technical level support
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Description
The AVP, TM Operations Officer is responsible for advanced operational duties within the Treasury Management department. Key responsibilities include providing leadership and training to the TM Operations Support staff to ensure smooth operational activities, supporting business development officers and branches with onboarding complex and high-value commercial clients, and ensuring timely support to clients and be a point of contact for escalations.
This role supports the VP, TM Operations Manager on projects, procedures, audits, and any other tasks assigned, and works closely with SVP, Head of Treasury Management.
Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Provides ongoing guidance, training, and support to the TM Operations Support staff.

The incumbent for this position will occasionally lift up to 15 pounds, pull, squat, kneel and reach. The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The work environment is typically quiet to a moderate noise level.
