What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with a software development team on a Cloud-based project integrating client and internal systems
- Utilize technologies such as Java, Python, Glue, Lambda, S3, and PostgreSQL
- Participate in design sessions, code reviews, daily standup meetings, and agile ceremonies
- Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and assist QA in diagnosing bugs
- Quickly adapt to new technologies as project needs evolve
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Python
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Java
- Strong experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions
- Familiarity with ETL tools, such as Informatica
- Experience with REST API development and integration in an AWS environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in data modeling and data analysis
- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures
- Experience with PostgreSQL, CloudWatch, S3, and Terraform
- Ability to work independently within an agile scrum team
- Enjoyment of working in a creative and effective environment
