What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and highly available applications using AWS services
- Provide high-level estimations for new products, considering scope, complexity, and resources
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for alignment
- Implement best practices for cloud-based application development and deployment
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, focusing on cloud-based applications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
