      Your Impact: As a High School Intern with Axon, you will be working within a fast paced, and exciting environment. This program gives direct exposure to a career in the technology industry for high school students and allows you to get an early jump on seeing what the technology industry has to offer. This program is strictly for ElevateEd AZ student applicants.

      Location: Scottsdale, AZ - In-Person
      Reports To: Internship Program Manager

      What You’ll Do: Axon is seeking interns to support our moonshot goal of cutting gun-related deaths between the police and the public by 50% in the next 10 years. As an intern at Axon, you will take on a variety of projects that focus on areas YOU have interest in. This can range from robotics, marketing, VR, manufacturing, etc.vThe ideal candidate should demonstrate an interest in STEM or a related field, strong verbal and written communication skills, willingness to take on challenges, and above all a growth mindset.
      Internship Objectives

      • Execute on projects and assignments for your team, while gaining the skills to take ownership and see projects to completion
      • Collaborate across other teams at Axon working on real-world projects, software development, program management, data analysis, etc based on your interests
      • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing
      • Attending informational sessions with our Learning and Development, LDPs, and other team leaders to help you build your professional brand, engage in networking opportunities, and set your self up the future



      What You Bring

      • No prior work experience needed
      • High school student currently enrollment in CTE program within Arizona
      • Strong interest in technology and desire to learn and grow in the tech field
      • Basic computer skills and familiarity with common software applications
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to work well in a team and learn from experienced professionals
      • Strong work ethic, growth mindset, and problem-solving skills
