  JOB TITLE: Azure Data Integration Engineer

  REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

  JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St. Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

  DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking an Azure Data Integration Engineering in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to translate core architecture for business requirements into final technical solutions consisting of platform, network, software, and cloud solutions. Translate core architecture for business requirements into final technical solutions through functional, performance and reliability analyses using engineering models and techniques. Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partner with teams to elaborate on solutions and their interfaces. Validate technology assumptions and evaluate implementation alternatives. Establish and define critical NFRs at the solution level. Create and enable continuous delivery pipelines. Assemble large and complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing da-ta delivery, and automating manual processes. Build required infrastructure for the optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using Azure and SQL technologies. Build analytical tools to utilize data pipelines and provide actionable insight into key business performance metrics: operational efficiency and customer acquisition. Assist data, design, product, and executive teams with data-related technical issues. Support data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues. Utilize Azure Cloud and leverage PowerBI. Perform custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance. Carry out schema design and dimensional data modeling. Deploy machine learning and automation. Work with Python, SCALA, SPARK, and .NET. Perform SQL programming. Use Agile data engineering concepts and processes.

  REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation translating core architecture for business requirements into final technical solutions consisting of platform, net-work, software, and cloud solutions; creating and enabling continuous delivery pipelines; building analytical tools to utilize data pipelines and provide actionable insight into key business performance metrics: operational efficiency and customer acquisition; utilizing Azure Cloud and leveraging PowerBI; performing custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance; carrying out schema design and dimensional data modeling; deploying machine learning and automation; working with Python, SCALA, SPARK, and .NET; performing SQL programming; and using Agile data engineering concepts and processes.
