  Department Overview:	Campus College Sitters is a Madison-based babysitting network that connects local families with trusted, trained, and background-checked college students for flexible, high-quality childcare. Founded by a UW student with a heart for community and care, we’re on a mission to make childcare safer, simpler, and more supportive—both for families and student sitters. We provide connection between a background checked and CPR certificatied nannies with families needing childcare. We’re more than just a babysitting platform—we’re a growing community. Sitters get ongoing support, local activity guides, and job opportunities that work with their student lifestyle while enriching their resume..   Position Summary/Job Duties:	Are you a college student looking to make extra money doing something meaningful and fun? Join Campus College Sitters, a local platform that connects trusted, trained college sitters with families in Madison. We’re looking for warm, reliable, and engaging students who love spending time with kids. Whether you’re a future teacher, pre-health major, or just someone who enjoys making a positive impact, this is the perfect side gig to build experience and earn great pay — all while working with families who respect your time and studies. What You’ll Do: Provide in-home care for children of various ages (infants to school-aged kids) Play, read, craft, and engage with children in fun, age-appropriate ways Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times Prepare simple meals or snacks (when needed) Follow the family's routine and communicate clearly with parents Optionally help with light tidying up related to the kids (toys, dishes, etc.) Different families have different needs, so we encourage everyone to apply ! Some families want summer care only, others date nights only, others need school pick up, etc ! Find one that better fits your availability and preferences
  Qualifications:	Must be 18+ years old Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a college or university CPR/First Aid certified — or willing to complete certification before starting jobs (we will pay for it) Able to pass a background check Experience with children (babysitting, tutoring, camp counselor, etc.) Strong communication skills and a responsible, caring attitude Reliable and punctual — families are counting on you! Comfortable engaging kids with age-appropriate games, activities, and routines Willingness to complete ptional neurodivergent training to better support all children
