Description:
Monitors progress of screening process, addresses any issue that may be causing a delay and communicates with applicable parties
Perform scheduled audits using multiple data sources, reporting results to stakeholders
Adjudicate pre-hire employment background checks
Ensures the timely and accurate processing, review, analysis, and consideration of background check results
Assesses results of background checks and risks as related to the position for which an individual is being considered and consults with Talent Acquisition manager and/or Legal to determine appropriate outcomes
Follows up with vendor for service requests, and to provide or gather additional information
Work closely with recruiting coordinators and recruiters on background check process and specific issues
Create background check status reports and conduct weekly audits
Send and monitor response for Pre-Adverse and Adverse action notices Review Compliance requirements based on applicant jurisdiction of residence/work and apply as as necessary

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1-3 years’ experience in human resources with emphasis on staffing preferred Experience in HR, background screening, law, compliance, and /or document management preferred Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and tact in dealing with confidential issues with complete discretion Excellent ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally Exceptional attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Comfortable interacting with various levels of customers and managing expectations Proficient in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) *** Preferred Intermediate to Advanced Google Sheets and/or SmartSheet. Experience using formulas, macros, and VBA. Or a strong willingness to learn.
