      Department Overview:

      The Wisconsin Union, often referred to as "the heart and soul" of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has enhanced the lives of members and visitors since it was founded in 1907. Since 1928, when the doors to Memorial Union opened, the Wisconsin Union has served as the living room of the UW-Madison campus. The Union connects students, faculty, staff, members and visitors through shared cultural, social and recreational events and experiences.

      Anticipated Hours Per Week

      2 to 6 hours a week

      Schedule:

      Anticipated Schedule

      • Monday and Wednesday 10:30am-1pm

      Unit Hours

      • 7:30am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday

      • 7:30am-3pm Friday

      Salary/Wage Range:

      Hourly $15.00 to $15.00

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      • Provide excellent customer service
      • Maintain clean, organized work and storage spaces
      • Take orders and general cashiering duties
      • Stocking unit coolers and shelves
      • Inventory counts

      • Training is provided
