      Job Description

      Join our dynamic team as a Bakery Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production and packaging of bakery products, including donuts, Danish, and muffins. This position involves working closely with supervisors and managers to maintain high-quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.

      Responsibilities

      • Conduct pre-operational checks and obtain necessary approvals before starting production.
      • Inspect and receive ingredients, ensuring no contamination or damage.
      • Pre-scale ingredients using digital scales according to dough type.
      • Monitor dough mixing and lamination processes, adjusting equipment as needed.
      • Assist with production line tasks such as checking weights, cleaning, and packaging.
      • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after production runs.
      • Communicate actively with team members to resolve challenges and improve efficiency.
      • Perform routine safety checks to maintain a safe working environment.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience in production, food manufacturing, and machine operation.
      • Understanding of GMP and food safety protocols.
      • Ability to lift and push/pull 50lbs continuously.
      • Proficiency in basic English language skills.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • High School Diploma or GED.
      • Must be 18 years or older.
      • Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day.
      • Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.
      • Ownership of non-slip (oil/water rated) safety shoes.

      Work Environment

      This position is set in a fast-paced GMP manufacturing environment, which can be hot and loud but is filled with the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods. Employees are required to wear company-provided attire, including smocks, gloves, hairnets, and non-slip safety footwear. Our facility adheres to strict health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and productive workplace.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
