      POSITION OVERVIEW As a Bakery Training Technician, you will work on the Walmart/Sam’s team supporting Walmart bakeries. This is a remote role with regular daytime travel and occasional overnight travel, where you will provide hands on product training in both one-on-one and seminar settings to Walmart Bakery associates. The Bakery Training Technician role is a salaried non-exempt role (40 hours/week – minimum 36 store hours; up to one hour administrative). Candidates must live in market or be willing to relocate for this role (29687, 28114, 29301). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES In this role you will: Develop & deliver strategic training and demonstrations to drive in-store knowledge and ability in Walmart bakeries Develop and maintain excellent relationships with in-store and management and associates Maintain optimum territory coverage patterns by training stores on a prescribed time-(goal of 36 hours weekly) & frequency while maintaining updated and accurate records Effectively conduct hands on product training for bakery associates in a seminar type setting both large and small while working as a team with other suppliers Additional duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma, Culinary or Bakery training or Bachelor’s degree preferred 1-3 years’ previous experience within a bakery; 3-5 years baking, donut and cake decorating experience in a teaching setting Technical baking, donut and cake decorating skills required Ability to train small groups Ability to work in a home office environment and travel 50-60% overnight travel (company car provided) Self-managed and results oriented Flexible and able to manage adversity Strong communication and influence skills Strong PC/Ipad skills including, but not limited to: Excel, Word, Powerpoint COMPANY OVERVIEW We exist to make food the world loves. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $48400.00 - $66700.00 / Annually.
