      With the appointment of Demna as artistic director of the collections in 2015, he continues to uphold the vision of Cristobal Balenciaga through his exquisite techniques, masterful cuts and by constantly pushing boundaries.

      Balenciaga offers women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, eyewear and a fragrance for women, subsidiary of Kering.

      We are currently seeking a Public Relations Intern who will report to our VP of Communications.

      Job Description

      YOUR OPPORTUNITY

      This opportunity will expose you to a comprehensive survey of the field of fashion public relations, and you will complete this program ready to enter any fast-paced public relations firm with excellent skills.

      HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

      • Assist with domestic and international sample trafficking
      • Database management and upkeep
      • Conduct media research projects
      • Assist with production needs for office meetings and events
      • Showroom and media library maintenance
      • Magazine clipping and scanning brand press

      WHO YOU ARE

      • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
      • Able to receive academic credit
      • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
      • Able to work in our NYC office

      COMPENSATION

      • $15/hour + academic credit
      • Must be able to receive academic credit to be eligible
