      Balenciaga offers women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, and eyewear for women, subsidiary of Kering.

      We are currently seeking a Retail Buying Intern who will report to the LG, Associate Buyer.

      Job Description

      YOUR OPPORTUNITY

      This opportunity will provide you with insight into the NY luxury fashion industry as well as an understanding of our corporate culture and business practices.

      HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

      • Assisting the Retail Buyers with the following tasks:
        • Reporting analysis
        • Corrective actions on stock allocations, transfers
        • Pricing follow up
        • Competitive study (offer, price mapping)
        • Miscellaneous seasonal projects
      • Preparation of training guidelines/tools for retail stores
      • Compile Seasonal Buy Books
      • Assist with weekly selling reports and analysis
      • Organize and prepare seasonal product recaps
      • Administrative support duties

      WHO YOU ARE

      • Merchandising experience is preferred
      • Detail oriented and task driven
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
      • Comfortable with numbers and recaps
      • Problem solver
      • Strong time management and organizational skills
      • Able to receive academic credit

      COMPENSATION

      • $16/hour + academic credit
      • Must be able to receive academic credit to be eligible
