Job summary
As part of our modernization plan to develop a first class service at this forward thinking Trust, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a pro-active, enthusiastic, self-motivated, individual to join our innovative and successful Emergency Department Reception Team.
The role will be based at Heartlands Hospital. The post holder is expected to work rotational shifts.
0700-1500hrs
15.00hrs 23.00hrs
23.00hrs -07.00
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite for this role. Evidence of managing difficult situations is key to this role. A high level of competence in Microsoft packages is essential as is flexibility to meet service needs.
Main duties of the job
Act as the main communication/registration point for all the patients and visitors presenting at QEHB Emergency Department and to undertake all the administrative and clerical duties to support the functioning of the departments. Ensure that all administration systems within these areas are maintained to a high standard.
