      Job summary

      This is an exciting opportunity for Clinical Support Workers to join the Dragonfly Unit in supporting young people through their mental health journey. We are looking for Band 3 Clinical Support Worker's that are passionate about recovery led care with a focus on promoting least restrictive practice.

      The 12-bedded Dragonfly Unit is based in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft and is for age 13-17 year old young people requiring admission whilst receiving inpatient mental health treatment.

      The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and looking forward to a new challenge providing the best care to our service users. We are looking for someone who displays compassion, empathy and is sensitive in your approach to people who may be distressed or have a challenging manner.

      Main duties of the job

      As a Clinical Support Worker, you will be a vital member of the team who will be enthusiastic, resilient, sensitive, and passionate about providing the best care to our service users.

      As a Support Worker you will be an essential member of the team bringing us your personal skills and experience of caring for people to provide activity, personal support, complete observations and engage with people.

      However most importantly and in keeping with our Trust values of Positively, Respectfully and Together, we are looking for someone who has exceptional people and communication skills.

      • Care Certificate - must be achieved within first 12 weeks of employment
      • NVQ L2/3 H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC or to commence the framework within the first 4 months of employment

      • NVQ L2/3 in H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC
      • VRQ L3 in mental health
