Job summary
Are you a hard-working person with a passion for the physical and the mental well-being of your service users?
The ECG service is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills.
You will need to have the ability to use the trusts electronic patient record system (Rio) and ideally you will have skills in taking ECG's and be up to date with your competency.
This team are based at Newbridge House B10 9JH; however, the role requires travelling around the trust sites to run ECG outpatient clinics and in the inpatient units, so driving would be advantageous. (but not essential). Travel expenses will be paid
Main duties of the job
You will need to be able to work independently, complete your work accurately, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Your role will be to review inpatient and outpatient sites to deliver the service
You will welcoming service users booked into the clinic or are due for an ECG on the inpatient wards
Respectfully providing ECG traces to service users on the caseload (with consideration for the dignity)
Uploading the information to the clinical system
Documenting all the interventions on our clinical system (Rio)
The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9-5 (excluding bank holidays); however, part time hours will be considered.
